Origin

MANAS had its origin in 1980 in the shape of an idea to start a small scale enterprise that will operate with Human Values as a cherished ideal.

The first products were Atomic and Molecular Models of the ball and stick type. Thereafter followed Consultancy, Research and Development, and Manufacturing in plastics and associated areas.

Hot Melt Adhesive coated Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) film for Document Lamination was developed in 1986 and today is the company's primary manufacturing activity.

In 1993, PLUSS Polymers (Pvt.) Ltd. was established to manufacture and market products and technologies developed in the company's Research and Development facilities.

Growth

The company had its beginnings in a 100 square feet space. Today it has a factory space of 2400 square feet with a well equipped Research and Development Laboratory and an exclusive office with a large Technical Library.
